Fishing Licenses

A current license, signed in ink, is required of all people age 16 and over to fish or angle in Commonwealth waters. Licenses are valid from December 1 to December 31 of the following year, inclusive. To obtain a fishing license, bring proof of Pennsylvania residency (a drivers license or other valid identification card) to the Beaver County Treasurers office.

 

 Resident

 

Age 16-64:  $22.70

Senior (65 & up) Annual:  $11.70

Senior (65 & up) Lifetime*:  $51.70

National Guard & Armed Forces Reserve (16 & up)*:  >$2.70

Prisoner of War (P.O.W.) (16 & up)*:  $2.70

1-Day (16 & up) (Not valid from April 1 through April 30):  $11.70

 

 Non-Resident

 

​Annual (16 & up):  $52.70

1-Day Tourist (16 & up) (not valid from April 1 through April 30):  $26.70

3-Day Tourist (16 & up):  $26.70

7-Day Tourist (16 & up):  $34.70

Trout/Salmon Permit (16 & up):  $9.70

Lake Erie Permit (16 & up):  $9.70

Combination Trout / Lake Erie Permit (16 & up):  $15.70

*Available only at Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission and County Treasurers offices
 
NOTE:  You qualify for a resident fishing license if you are a bona fide resident of Pennsylvania. You must show positive proof of permanent residency.  Senior Resident and Lifetime licenses are available to those persons at any time during the year in which they will become age 65.
 
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE MILITARY WAIVER AN ANGLER MUST BE A BONAFIDE PENNSYLVANIA RESIDENT, BE ON ACTIVE DUTY, BE STATIONED OUTSIDE PENNSYLVANIA AND BE HERE ON AUTHORIZED LEAVE. WHILE IN THE ACT OF FISHING, THE MILITARY PERSONNEL MUST CARRY PROOF OF EACH OF THESE REQUIREMENTS SUCH AS A PA DRIVER'S LICENSE, A MILITARY ID, AND VALID MILITARY ORDERS SHOWING THE PLACE OF ASSIGNMENT AND LEAVE STATUS.
