SCHEDULE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS

FOR 2009

Notice is hereby given that the Beaver County Commissioners, Beaver County Retirement Board, Beaver County Prison Board, Beaver County Salary Board, Beaver County Board of Assessment Appeals, Beaver County Airport Advisory Board, Planning Commission, Conservation District, Economic Development Board, Redevelopment Authority and Beaver County Agricultural Land Preservation Board will publicly meet as scheduled:

Board of Commissioners’ Work Session: Every Wednesday as needed, 10:00am in the Beaver County Commissioners’ Conference Room, Beaver County Courthouse, Beaver PA.

Board of Commissioners’ Bid Opening Meeting: Each Tuesday that bids are due, 9:00am in the Beaver County Commissioners’ Conference Room, Beaver County Courthouse, Beaver PA.

Board of Commissioners’ Public Meeting: Second and Fourth Thursday of every month at 10:00am in the Beaver County Commissioners’ Conference Room, Beaver County Courthouse, Beaver PA.

Retirement Board: Third Wednesday of every month, 2:00pm in the Beaver County Commissioners’ Conference Room, Beaver County Courthouse, Beaver PA.

Prison Board: Fourth Wednesday of every month, 12:00pm at the Beaver County Jail, Hopewell Twp., Woodlawn Avenue.

Salary Board Work Session: Second Tuesday of January, April, July and October at 10:00am in the Beaver County Commissioners’ Conference Room, Beaver County Courthouse, Beaver PA.

Salary Board: Third Tuesday of January, April, July and October at 10:00am in the Beaver County Commissioners’ Conference Room, Beaver County Courthouse, Beaver PA.

Board of Assessment Appeals: Third Wednesday of every month 10:00am in the Beaver County Commissioners’ Conference Room, Beaver County Courthouse, Beaver PA.

Conservation District: Second Monday of every month at 9:00am unless it falls on a holiday then it will be the second Tuesday of the month, held at the Beaver County Conservation District Environmental Center, 156 Cowpath Road, Aliquippa, PA.

Airport Advisory Board Meeting: First Wednesday of each month at 5:00pm, at Community College of Beaver County Science Center Conference Room, Center Twp., PA.

Beaver County Planning Commission: Third Tuesday of each month at 12:30pm in the Buchanan Building, Conference room, 2nd Floor, 650 Corporation Street, Beaver, PA.

Redevelopment Authority of Beaver County: Third Wednesday of each month at 8:00am in the office of the Beaver County Planning Commission, located in the Beaver County Courthouse, Beaver, PA.

Beaver County Agricultural Land Preservation Board: Third Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm, in the Planning Commissioner Conference Room, located in the Beaver County Courthouse, Beaver, PA.

Economic Development Authority Board Meeting: Third Tuesday of January, April, July and October at 5:30pm Grand Valley Inn, Fallston, PA.

This notice, a duplicate copy of which is placed on the Courthouse bulletin board is effective January 1, 2009 and is given in full compliance with provisions of Act 84 of 1996, commonly referred to as the “Sunshine Law”.
