Old Marriage
Licenses
Our Marriage Records are from
1886 to the present
To obtain information on old
Marriage Licenses;
fax, e-mail, or mail your request to
the Register of Wills. We charge a $4.00
Research Fee to be sent in along with your request.
Provide us with the name of the
Groom and Bride (maiden name) and the date of the marriage (within 5 years if
you do not know the exact date). Also include your name and a daytime
telephone number.
We will notify you of the cost of
the license. Fees for copies of a license are
$1.00. A Certified Copy of a marriage
license is $5.00.
You must then send a check or money order along with a self addressed stamped
envelope. The check or money order
would be made payable to "Register of Wills".
