Hon. Edward Howe
Judge

An active participant in various community programs, Magisterial District Judge Ed Howe was elected to his third term in November 2009, for District 36-2-01. Mr. Howe succeeded long time District Judge Lewis E. Kirchner, who served this district for four terms before his retirement in 1995.

A graduate of Rochester High School, Mr. Howe earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Vincent’s College in Latrobe, PA.

Prior to being elected district judge, Mr. Howe was a member of the Rochester Borough Police Department for 23 years. For over 30 years, he has volunteered with both the Rochester and Economy Borough Fire Departments.
