Welcome To The Department Of Sustainability And Waste Management

Mission Statement


The mission of the Department is to protect the natural environment and public health and safety of the residents of Beaver County through the implementation of environmentally sound waste management practices. We encourage waste minimization, beneficial reuse, recycling and sustainably.

To accomplish these goals, this Department has committed to assure County facility compliance with ACT 101 and Act 97.  The Beaver County Office of Sustainability and Waste Management provides compliance assistance to all 54 of the County’s municipalities as defined in the Beaver County Municipal Waste Management Plan.

Recycling Center Hours


Beaver County provides its residents with the opportunity to contribute to keeping Beaver County a great place to live, work and play. The Recycling Center located in Brady’s Run Park accepts a variety of “recyclable” materials.  More information can be found on our “Programs and Services” page along with detailed information about what materials are accepted at the facility.

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - 8:30am to 3:30pm
Wednesday - Noon to 5pm
Every 3rd Saturday of the month 8:30am to Noon

The Recycling Center is able to take cash or check.  No credit cards or debit cards are taken.
