Tennis Facility

Indoor Tennis and Indoor Walking Track


The indoor tennis courts and walking track are a non-membership public facility, operating year 'round. Tennis courts are reserved on the hour. The four indoor, two-toned color coated tennis courts are backed by ΒΌ inch of plexicushion. The surface is medium pace, while the cushioned layer provides comfort for less leg and back fatigue.

Walkers and joggers are welcome anytime during regular operating hours.


Policies


When entering the Recreation Facility, please proceed to the Admissions Office to give our clerk your name and phone number, payment for the court time, and to find out which court you reserved.

  • Effective October 1, 2018, players must cancel reserved court time 24 hours prior to your scheduled time to avoid paying court fees.
  • All no-shows will be charged for the court hours reserved.
  • Party rentals and special court reservations may be reserved upon request.
  • The tennis facility will close 1 hour prior to closing time if there are no reservations or court usage.
  • The Recreation Facility is a non-smoking facility.
  • Only water is permitted on courts. No food or other beverages, please.
  • Proper dress attire is required. Shirts must be worn at all times.
  • Tennis shoes are the only shoes permitted on the court surface.
  • Please remain quiet when walking behind curtained walkway to your court so you do not disturb the play on the other courts.
  • Please follow the court clocks. Do not enter the court area before your reserved time. Please allow players to finish the game in progress.
  • Please, no play-over.
  • No hitting the tennis balls to damage any part of the tennis facility.
  • Due to occupancy limitations, all tennis players are encouraged to call ahead and schedule court time.


Permanent Court Time Information


Permanent court time is available to those players who wish to play with a certain group at specific times and days on a weekly basis from October 1st to April 30th.

  • The players in each group are responsible for all designated dates for payments and to cancel any dates that the courts will not be used.
  • Any playing date may be canceled at the group's discretion with at least 24 hours notice to the tennis facility.
  • Permanent court time may be changed to accommodate various tournaments and special functions.
