How do I file paperwork for Beaver County Domestic Relations?
a. Local complaints can be completed on the child support website at www.childsupport.state.pa.us (click on “Request Support Services”) or by requesting a paper application in person at the Domestic Relations Office.
b. Local petitions (reason for the modification request must be listed) can be filed on the website listed above, by email at cs-beaver@pacses.com or in writing by fax 724-728-7863 or mail 800 3rd St, Beaver Pa 15009.
c. Any Interstate and Intrastate (one party resides in another county/state) paperwork will need to be filed in person by appointment, please contact Beaver County Domestic Relations at 724-773-8500 for information on this process.
How Do I retrieve information on my case through the child support website?
a. Register/Log-in to www.childsupport.state.pa.us to see information on your case. Information available: Payments, payment history, scheduled appointments and case processing. You will need your member ID number and your case number to register on the Child Support Website. You can also request to receive text messages or emails regarding case information.
b. If you have forgotten your login or password for the website, please click on the “Contact Us” tab at the top right on the homepage. You can request your login or to have your password reset by email. This website is maintained and monitored through the State Child Support Agency and the Department of Human Services in Harrisburg. Your local office will not be able to assist you with your log in credentials.
How do I request a phone conference for an upcoming establishment/modification event?
a. Phone Conferences are not available for initial conferences.
b. You may request a phone conference for any modification requests by submitting that request in writing (or by email to cs-beaver@pacses.com ) with all documentation you intend to present at the time of the conference. Please refer to your Order to Appear for a guideline of potentially needed documents. You must request this at least 5 days prior to your Modification Conference.
How do I change my address/phone/employment at Domestic Relations?
a. Changes in address, phone or employment can be submitted on the website, or in writing by email, fax or mail or by calling client services at 724-773-8500.
How long will it take for a payment to be applied to my case?
a. Payments are processed through PA SCDU in Harrisburg for all cases. It may take 3 to 4 days to be posted to your case depending on the payment method. Payments are posted once a day through a batch process that runs nightly for the payment to process properly and be applied to the correct cases.
When does a child emancipate in the state of Pennsylvania?
a. The state of Pennsylvania’s legal age for emancipation is the child’s 18th birthday or graduation from High School, whichever occurs last. On each case, 60 days prior to the child’s 18th birthday, an Emancipation Inquiry is generated and mailed to both parties to verify we have the correct information to process the case. This is an automatic process.
