Single County Authority
Beaver County Behavioral Health Drug and Alcohol Program is the county agency designated by the State as the Single County Authority (SCA). The SCA is the recipient of state and federal dollars through contracts with the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP), to plan, coordinate, programmatically and fiscally manage and implement the delivery of drug and alcohol services at the local level. The SCA contracts for a variety of treatment, prevention and intervention programs.
Case Management
Drug and Alcohol Case Management includes: screening, assessment and referral to treatment, coordination of services and authorization/funding of alcohol and other drug abuse care for eligible county residents.
Treatment
We provide access to all levels of treatment, including but not limited to Withdrawal Management and Medication Assisted Treatment. If you have insurance, we can assist with accessing the appropriate level of care within your network. If you are uninsured or underinsured, we can assist with financial support in addition to accessing the appropriate level of care.
Prevention/Intervention
It is the intent of the BCBH SCA to further the advancement and implementation of substance use prevention programs and strategies throughout the County, using proven methodologies based on research within the substance use prevention field. This work is carried out in conjunction with our contracted Prevention Program providers.
